How is this different from Uber Health or rideshare?
Rideshare drivers aren't trained for wheelchairs, oxygen, or fragile passengers. They use personal cars. They aren't insured for medical transport. We use purpose-built, ADA-compliant vehicles with securement systems and drivers trained in patient handling. Comparable price — different safety standard.
Will my insurance cover it?
Often, yes. Texas Medicaid covers NEMT through transportation brokers like MTM, Modivcare, and Verida — we're credentialed with all three. Medicare Advantage often includes NEMT. Workers' comp, VA, private, and LTC policies reimburse. We verify coverage for free before you book.
What if I need a ride today?
Same-day rides are available based on driver availability — usually with 2–4 hours notice. Hospital discharges get priority. Call dispatch and we'll tell you in two minutes whether we can fit you in.
How much if I'm paying out of pocket?
Ambulatory rides start at $45 + $3.50/mile. Wheelchair rides start at $75 + $3.50/mile. Stretcher transport starts at $175 + $4.50/mile. No hidden fees. Wait time after 15 min is $1/minute. Written quote before dispatch.
What if my loved one has dementia?
All our drivers are trained in dementia-aware care and de-escalation. Family members or caregivers ride along free. For complex behavioral cases, we send our most experienced driver and brief them on patient history beforehand.
What happens if you're late?
We don't expect to be — but if we're more than 15 minutes past pickup for a non-weather, non-traffic reason, your next ride is on us. We track every trip with GPS. We publish our on-time rate. Currently 98%.
